Why Critical Thinking Assignments Are Not Easy?

Why Critical Thinking Assignments Are Not Easy?I'm sure that you've been given a critical thinking assignment. If you've been assigned a problem, then you probably know that it's not going to be easy to solve. At best, you're going to struggle with it. This is because you don't have the skills necessary to solve it.The same can be said about any critical thinking assignment. Unless you've spent a lot of time in an introductory class, you'll be missing important ideas and concepts. There are skills and concepts that will never come up unless you spend time studying them.Take a problem from high school math class. Say that you have to predict how many shoes will fit in a certain quantity of space. The solution would obviously depend on how many shoes are in the box.A critical thinker would ask the question, 'How many shoes can fit in this box?' From there, they would try to imagine how many shoes are actually in the box. How much will the box hold?In order to solve the problem, a criti cal thinker has to consider all possibilities. It would be impossible to predict what will happen if they place the shoes in the box at this moment. They need to work within their framework of thinking about how many shoes are needed to fill the box.You don't have to do any mental math or calculate anything complicated to be a critical thinker. Just remember to ask yourself the right questions. Find out where your strengths lie and use those.A good problem to begin with is to go through your entire life. How often have you done something based on the right approach? Find similar examples in the past and create a problem out of it. From there, you can begin to find examples.Think outside the box and create a critical thinker. Your work is never done.
